Hope in the North

The film explores the experiences of Ukrainian refugees in Anchorage, Alaska, and the significance of their journey. It includes interviews with four individuals who share personal stories of displacement, resilience, and how they’ve built new lives in Anchorage.

This film was produced during the 2025 AHA (Anchored Histories Alaska) teacher retreat, with generous funding from the Department of Education National Activities Grant.
