Growing Up in a Changing Climate

“Growing Up in a Changing Climate” explores how youth from Fairbanks, Alaska have experienced climate change, and how they feel about it. This film includes interviews with teen activists who are part of the youth-led group Alaska Youth for Environmental Action (AYEA), and also highlights their perspectives about what inspires them to act in the face of the climate crisis.

This film was produced during the 2025 AHA (Anchored Histories Alaska) teacher retreat, with generous funding from the Department of Education National Activities Grant.
