Consolidation: Resilience Through Change

“Consolidation: Resilience Through Change” explores how community members support one another through times of unexpected change. In 2024, two major high schools in Juneau, AK consolidated. The change was deeply felt by community members. After one school year, interviews with Mara Early, Kristin Garot and Ferguson Wheeler tell a story of community support and resilience through the change.

This film was produced during the 2025 AHA (Anchored Histories Alaska) teacher retreat, with generous funding from the Department of Education National Activities Grant.
