Wrangell Bombardment Apology

In 1869, a conflict between the U.S. Army and the Tlingit people in modern day Wrangell, AK led to the Army bombarding the Tlingit village of Ḵaachx̱aana.áakʼw. 155 years later, this film, produced by Wrangell youth and the Stikine Stories program, features the voices of leaders involved in the U.S. apology of the Bombardment, including Tlingit leader Dr. Rosita Worl and U.S. Army Major General Joe Hilbert.
