We here at See Stories were beyond touched when Roben Itchoak shared her words of Support for See Stories’ work in the ADN op-ed. Roben’s conviction that students (and all of us) deserve to be seen and heard, keeps us going through the hard and good times.

“When students research, conduct interviews and produce films that reflect their Alaska experiences, it offers an alternate avenue of participation while validating their existence. Just the idea of being recognized as a living, breathing human and knowing one’s thoughts and ideas are heard –whether or not you agree with them or like them –is incredibly powerful.”
